Turquoise Tughra Pendant Keychain, Ottoman Signature
This keychain was created using a gorgeous Turquoise gemstone, gold beads and spacers, filigreed gold bead caps and a beautiful blue patina Tughra pendant. Finished with a gold tone lobster claw and keyring. Full length of the pendant drop measures 3” in length and the Tughra pendant measures 2” in length and 1 5/8” in width.
Turquoise is a stone of protection, strong and opaque, yet soothing to the touch. The delicate veining in cream or brown is inherent to the stone and serves to enhance its character. It is a talisman of luck, success, ambition and creativity.
Use Turquoise to realign your energy centers, helping to clear the path to a higher consciousness. Protects from negative energy and brings good fortune.
A tughra (Ottoman Turkish: طغرا tuğrâ) is a calligraphic monogram, seal or signature of a sultan that was affixed to all official documents and correspondence. It was also carved on his seal and stamped on the coins minted during his reign. Very elaborate decorated versions were created for important documents that were also works of art in the tradition of Ottoman illumination.

We’re just two sisters working hard, not a big business that’s going to do anything with your information except send you an email with your order details, your shipping notification, any questions that might come up from your order and a thank you.
We hope our packaging looks as pretty as the gift inside! That is something that we take a lot of pride in. We have gift boxes, sheer organza bags, cards, etc. If you want something special, email us and we will do what we can to tailor it to the person you’re sending it to or the occasion. But if you’re splurging on yourself, rest easy, when it comes out of our workroom for shipping it will still look special!
A lot of our time is spent out at festivals, shows, events, etc. We specialize in one-of-a-kind handcrafted pieces. What you see online might not be what you’re looking for but you know what you want (at least a little). My sister, Beth, is a master at anything hemp, leather or metal. I love any kind of stone I can find and unique pendants on silk cord, leather and chain. Send us an email and together we will bring that vision to life. The best part of custom is having your hand in the design of it, you’ll get what you want.
Sizing can be difficult sometimes. The best thing to have is a soft measuring tape so you can get a feel of the length you want. Some people want pieces for certain necklines and it matters where you want it to sit. We’ve had people give or send us string they cut for the length. It’s funny I know but it worked in a pinch. There’s customers out there who can’t just come out and ask what size the person wears for their bracelet or something.
Quite honestly we try to make whatever we make out of quality materials. We don’t use silver or sterling silver because it tarnishes. There are times you do have something that tarnishes or darkens but we try the best we can to avoid that. We make our pieces and leave them exposed to the air so we can not sell a piece until we know the findings, crimps, clasps, spacers, etc. will not tarnish.
